Holey moley...

For almost three years now, if I didn't have my green wellies on, I was wearing my pink holey soles.  Holey Soles were the originals...then along came Crocs and other copycat brands.  I vowed to stay true to Holey Soles...they've worked in the garden, tramped through the woods and marched the beach with me.  It's like having a marshmallow on each foot.  They are that light.  The little bumps on the inside massage your feet, sand and waves don't bother them a bit and they wash up in the kitchen sink.  Oh, but then I spied Croc boots on Jenny's blog and truth be told, my resolve is slipping and my feet are wondering what it would be like to slip into a pair of these...

Cinderella may not have bothered with the glass slipper if she'd been wearing pink Croc boots in the scullery.

I absolutely love my Crocs! I have only just recently gotten a pair after having despaired for a few years now at ever being able to find something comfortable enough to withstand the 8 hours plus a day I have to stand on my feet at work for! I got my lovely crocs and wow, you are right...just like standing on two marshmallows! I'm up for a second pair now, just for every day and I might even splurge for a pink pair of boots for walking through the orchards with!

I so badly want to buy myself a pair but the girls say I would become a victim of fashion and media if I did such a heinous thing. So I guess I am stuck with my father-in-law's old steel toed work boots. ;(

I have heard very good reports of Crocs, people seem to be devoted to them, but I think I'll stick to my combat boots and walking sandals, I'd scare the squirrels in pink things like that!

if the clogs are as warm as they are, can you imagine how toasty our feet will be in winter?!? that is a thought that makes me feel warm right now...and sweetly satisfied.

Before I finished I was off to ebay to find a pair of pink holey soles! Guess I shoulda finished the whole post because now I NEED a pair of pink Croc boots too! I must find some beach to find beach glass!

I love my marshmallows! I'm on my second pair. I haven't seen the boots yet, until now. I may have to get a pair. I must need them for something! Oh yeah, extra muddy days in the garden or at the lake. Guess, I'm going shopping. Thanks Green Wellies. :)
