On the road again...
Yup...I'm off gallivanting again, as my grandmother used to say. I'm heading up to my sister's Sunday morning for three days and lord only knows what we'll get up to...lots of belly laughs and beach walks with the dogs, no matter what else happens. My niece has been in Vancouver for the week and I picked her up from the bus depot tonight, so she can make the rest of the journey with Casper and me. It will be great to have her company on the car and ferry ride, but seeing as how she's the world's biggest Harry Potter fan, I know what the topic of conversation will be.
This weekend also marks a year since my dad passed away, so it's good to be with family.

A bitter sweet time of year for you, hope you have a wonderful time with family I'm sure you will be re-living lots of wonderful memories as well as making new ones.

We can't wait for the new Harry Potter movie this week and the last Harry Potter book next week. I have read all those books aloud to my family and it's a lovely treat to look forward to reading this last one with them. Although I have a hard time when a character dies and rumblings are that two of the main characters die. Have a safe journey there and back again Barb and dear little Casper.

Have been away on Holidays myself so am just now catching up on all I have missed! You have had a busy few weeks! I thought of you when I was on a beach up in Scotts Harbour Nova Scotia looking for a heart shaped pebble!

I have not read any Harry Potter books and am waiting for the children to go back to school so I can start! My grandmother also used to say to me " sit down and stop gallivanting all over!" (Was your grandmother's name Ruth?):)
