Self-portrait...Not Quite!
A young student drew this picture of me one day in class. I was wearing a sweater and pants, but she insisted that this was what I looked like...lovely blue skirt and pinkish cardigan. She said the green thing on my head was my zucchini crown. I told her I'd always wanted a zucchini crown and now she'd given me one. Oh, to see through the eyes of a child! And...this is the closest I've come to wearing heels. I couldn't decide where to photograph my portrait and then I spied the huge paint-by-number on the wall and figured if I had a crown and blue heels, then I might as well be standing on a rock in the middle of a mountain stream. Dream on...
